Brand Identity and AI Learning
Rheos learns your brand voice and visual style to generate on-brand content automatically. This guide explains how Identity works and how to optimize AI understanding of your brand.
What Is Identity?
The Identity section stores your brand guidelines and helps Rheos AI understand:
Visual style – Colors, design patterns, image aesthetics
Brand voice – Tone, messaging, and communication style
Target audience – Who you're creating content for
Business context – Industry, offerings, and positioning
This information guides AI generation to produce content that matches your brand.
Setting Up Identity
During onboarding, you start building your Identity profile:
Provide your company name and website
Choose automatic analysis (via website URL) or manual entry
Rheos runs AI analysis if you provided a URL
Your initial Identity is created
After onboarding, you can refine and expand your Identity in the dedicated Identity section.
Automatic brand analysis extracts visual and messaging patterns from your website, giving AI a head start on understanding your style.
Completing Your Identity
To finish setting up your brand profile:
Navigate to Identity in the sidebar
Complete the prompted sections
Review AI-generated insights (if you used automatic analysis)
Refine or add manual details as needed
The dashboard may show a prompt: "Complete Identity" if this section is incomplete.
What Identity Includes
Your Identity profile typically covers:
Business Details:
Company name and description
Industry and positioning
Website and social handles
Brand Voice:
Tone (professional, casual, playful, authoritative, etc.)
Key messaging themes
Communication style preferences
Visual Style:
Brand colors (extracted or manually entered)
Design aesthetic (minimalist, bold, modern, etc.)
Image style preferences
Audience:
Target demographics
Audience interests and pain points
Communication preferences
How AI Uses Your Identity
When generating content, Rheos AI:
References your Identity profile
Applies brand colors and visual style to images
Matches tone and messaging patterns
Considers audience preferences in content suggestions
Ensures consistency across all generated content
The more complete your Identity, the better the AI matches your brand.
Upload sample content (past social posts, brand photos) to Library and link to your Identity. This gives AI visual examples to learn from.
Updating Your Identity
As your brand evolves, update your Identity:
Go to the Identity section
Edit any profile fields
Add new visual examples or messaging guidelines
Save changes
Updated Identity settings apply to future AI generations.
Changing Identity settings may affect AI output consistency. Make updates when you're ready to refresh your content direction.
Brand Analysis Status
If you provided a website during onboarding, you'll see:
"Starting AI analysis…" – Analysis in progress
Completion notification when analysis finishes
Extracted insights in your Identity profile
Analysis typically completes within minutes to hours depending on website size.
Manual vs. Automatic Identity
Automatic (via website analysis):
Faster initial setup
AI-extracted brand patterns
May need manual refinement for accuracy
Manual entry:
More control over what AI learns
Takes longer to set up initially
Best for brands without websites or with complex positioning
You can always refine automatic results manually or add details to manual entries.
Visual Assets and Identity
Upload brand assets to reinforce visual Identity:
Add logos, brand colors, and sample images to Library
Tag them as brand assets
Reference these in generation sessions as context
The AI uses these as visual references to match your style more accurately.
Identity and Generation Context
When generating images in Studio:
Select brand selection option to apply Identity
AI automatically references your brand guidelines
Generated images match your color palette and style
Prompts are interpreted through your brand lens
Multi-Brand Management
Currently, Rheos supports one Identity per organization. For agencies managing multiple brands:
Create separate organizations for each client
Or manually switch Identity context when creating content for different brands
Team features may expand multi-brand support in the future
Privacy and Data Use
Identity information is used only to improve your content generation
Website analysis extracts only public information
Brand data is not shared with other Rheos users
You control what Identity information is stored
