Managing Generations: Like, Save, and Organize

Studio provides tools to curate and organize AI-generated images before saving them permanently. This guide explains how to use likes, selections, and bulk actions effectively.

Understanding Generations vs. Assets

Generations are temporary AI-created images within a session. They exist until you explicitly save them or close the session.

Assets are permanent files in your Library. They persist indefinitely and can be used across posts and campaigns.

The workflow: Generate → Like/curate → Save to Library as permanent assets.

Generations don't consume storage until you save them as assets. This lets you experiment freely before committing to favorites.

Liking Generations

Mark promising images as you generate:

  1. Click the heart or like icon on a generated image

  2. The image is added to your Liked Generations collection

  3. Liked status persists across sessions

Liking doesn't save the image permanently—it just flags it for review.

Why like images?

  • Build a curated collection across multiple sessions

  • Review all favorites in one place before deciding what to save

  • Separate promising results from experiments

  • Work asynchronously—like today, save tomorrow

Viewing Liked Generations

To see all your liked images:

  1. Navigate to Studio

  2. Look for the Liked Generations section

  3. Browse your curated collection in grid view

This section shows all liked images from all sessions, making it easy to compare and select the best.

Bulk Actions on Liked Generations

The Liked Generations section has a toolbar with powerful actions:

Select multiple:

  1. Click images to select them (or drag-select if available)

  2. The toolbar updates with selection count

Toolbar actions:

  • Show Posts – Display associated posts (if generations were used in posts)

  • Sort Liked Assets – Change sort order (newest, oldest, etc.)

  • Create Post – Turn selected generations into a new social post

  • Add to Library – Save selected generations as permanent assets

  • Download – Download selected images to your computer

  • Delete – Remove from liked generations

  • Clear selection – Deselect all

Use Liked Generations as a staging area. Generate freely, like the best, then batch-save your favorites to Library.

Unlike a Generation

To remove the like from an image:

  1. Click the liked heart icon again to toggle it off

  2. Or select and use bulk "Delete" in Liked Generations

Unliking removes the image from your Liked Generations view but doesn't delete the generation from its original session (if still open).

Saving Liked Generations to Library

When you're ready to make images permanent:

  1. Go to Liked Generations in Studio

  2. Select the images you want to save

  3. Click Add to Library in the toolbar

  4. Optionally choose:

    • Folder to save into

    • Project to associate

    • Tags to apply

  5. Confirm to save

Each saved generation becomes a permanent asset with a unique asset ID.

After saving to Library, the generation's `savedAssetId` field links it to the permanent asset for tracking.

Creating Posts from Generations

Turn generations directly into social posts:

  1. Select one or more liked generations

  2. Click Create Post in the toolbar

  3. You'll be taken to the post editor with the image(s) pre-loaded

  4. Add caption, schedule, and publish

This workflow saves you from manually selecting assets in the post editor.

Recent Sessions

Studio also shows Recent Sessions where you can:

  • Resume previous generation sessions

  • Review all images from a session (liked and unliked)

  • Continue refining prompts

  • Access session-specific actions

Sessions can be active (currently working) or archived (completed but saved for reference).

Draft Posts in Studio

The Studio may show a Draft Posts section with:

  • Posts you've started but not scheduled

  • Posts created from generations

  • Quick access to resume editing

Organizing Strategy

Daily workflow:

  1. Generate images in focused sessions

  2. Like anything promising as you go

  3. End of session: Review liked generations

  4. Bulk-save the best to Library with project tags

  5. Unlike/clear anything not needed

Campaign workflow:

  1. Generate images for entire campaign

  2. Like all viable options

  3. Review Liked Generations with stakeholders

  4. Bulk-save approved images to campaign folder

  5. Create posts from saved assets

Liked generations may have a limit or be cleaned up after extended periods. Save important images to Library to ensure permanence.

Zoom and View Options

In Liked Generations grid:

  • Adjust zoom level to see more or fewer images at once

  • Use sort options to order by date, session, or other criteria

  • Preview images in full size before saving
