Getting started

Saving AI Generations to Your Library

Generated images are temporary until you save them as permanent assets in your Library. This guide explains the saving workflow and organization options.

Why Save to Library?

Generated images exist only in Studio sessions until you save them:

  • Temporary generations may be cleared when sessions close or after time

  • Library assets are permanent and can be reused indefinitely

  • Only saved assets can be used in scheduled posts that publish later

  • Assets get tracking, metadata, and integration with projects/folders

Always save images you want to keep or use in published content.

Saving to Library is the step that makes AI-generated images permanent and reusable across your organization.

Saving from a Generation Session

While working in a generation session:

  1. Generate images with your prompt

  2. Review the results

  3. Select the image(s) you want to save

  4. Click Add to Library or the save button

  5. Configure save options (folder, project, tags)

  6. Confirm to save

The image is copied to your Library as a permanent asset.

Saving from Liked Generations

To save multiple liked images at once:

  1. Navigate to Studio > Liked Generations

  2. Select the generations you want to save (single or multiselect)

  3. Click Add to Library in the toolbar

  4. Choose organization options

  5. Confirm to save all selected images

This is the recommended workflow for curated batch saving.

Like images as you generate throughout the day, then bulk-save your favorites to Library at the end of your session.

Save Options

When saving to Library, you can optionally set:

Folder Choose a folder to organize the asset. Leave blank to save to Library root.

Project association Link the asset to one or more projects/campaigns for organization.

Tags Add searchable tags to help find the asset later.

Name Rename the asset from its default generation name.

Description Add context about the image, the prompt used, or intended use.

What Happens When You Save

  1. A permanent asset is created in your Library

  2. The generation is linked to the asset via savedAssetId

  3. The asset inherits metadata (prompt, platform, brand selection)

  4. Processing may run to create thumbnails and extract AI metadata

  5. The asset becomes available for use in posts and other features

The original generation remains in Studio for reference but isn't needed once saved.

Saved Asset Metadata

Assets saved from generations include rich metadata:

  • Prompt – The full prompt used to generate the image

  • Platform – Target platform (Instagram, LinkedIn)

  • Brand selection – Brand guidelines applied

  • Aspect ratio – Image dimensions

  • Credits used – Generation cost

  • Context assets – Any reference images used

  • Session link – Connection to the original session

This metadata helps you track how assets were created and replicate successful results.

View asset metadata in the Library to see the original prompt. This helps when you want to generate similar images later.

Bulk Saving Workflow

For campaign content creation:

  1. Create a project for the campaign first

  2. Create a folder in Library for campaign assets

  3. Generate multiple images in Studio sessions

  4. Like all viable options

  5. Go to Liked Generations

  6. Select all images for the campaign

  7. Bulk-save to the campaign folder and project

  8. Add campaign-specific tags (e.g., "summer-sale-2024")

All assets are now organized and ready for post creation.

Saving Before Closing Sessions

Before closing a generation session:

  1. Review all results in the session

  2. Like any images you might want later

  3. Save high-value images immediately to Library

  4. Close the session knowing liked images are still accessible

Liked images persist in Liked Generations even after closing sessions.

Always save critical images to Library before closing sessions. While liked images persist, session images may be cleaned up over time.

Managing Saved Assets

Once saved to Library, assets work like any other file:

  • Move between folders

  • Associate with additional projects

  • Add or edit tags and descriptions

  • Mark as favorite

  • Use in post creation

  • Download for external use

  • Track usage across posts and campaigns

Finding Saved Generations

To find assets you saved from AI generation:

  • Filter Library by asset type or AI status

  • Search by prompt keywords in descriptions

  • Filter by project if you organized during save

  • Check asset metadata for session and generation links

Re-generating from Saved Assets

If you want to create variations of a saved asset:

  1. Open the asset in Library

  2. View the metadata to see the original prompt

  3. Use the prompt in a new Studio session

  4. Modify the prompt to create variations

  5. Optionally add the saved asset as context for consistency

Storage and Limits

Saved assets count toward your organization's storage:

  • Generations are temporary and don't count until saved

  • Each saved asset consumes storage based on file size

  • Check your storage usage in Settings > Billing

  • Consider archiving or deleting unused saved generations
