Quick Start: From Signup to First Post in 10 Steps
This guide takes you from account creation to publishing your first social media post in 10 straightforward steps. Follow along to get up and running with Rheos quickly.
Estimated time: 15-20 minutes if you have brand assets ready and social accounts accessible.
Step 1: Complete Onboarding
After signing up, you'll go through a three-step onboarding wizard:
Enter your name, company name, and website (or manual business details)
Accept the Terms and consent to automated brand analysis
Connect social accounts (Instagram handle and LinkedIn OAuth) or skip for later
Click Finish Setup to reach your Dashboard
If you skip social connections, you can add them later from Settings > Integrations.
Step 2: Complete Your Identity (Optional but Recommended)
If you see a "Complete Identity" prompt on your Dashboard:
Navigate to Identity in the sidebar
Review AI-generated brand insights (if you provided a website)
Add or refine brand voice, audience, and visual style details
Save your Identity profile
This helps AI generate more on-brand content from the start.
Step 3: Create Your First Project
Navigate to Projects
Click the + icon to create a new project
Enter a Project Name (e.g., "First Campaign")
Optionally add goals, audiences, themes, color, and icon
Click Launch
Projects help organize your content by campaign.
Step 4: Upload Brand Assets (Optional)
Navigate to Library
Drag and drop your logo, brand colors, or sample images
Or click + and choose Upload Files
Associate uploaded assets with your project if desired
Uploading brand assets helps AI match your visual style.
Skip this step if you want to generate everything with AI. You can upload assets anytime.
Step 5: Generate Your First AI Image
Click the purple Create button (sidebar or mobile center)
Select Instagram or LinkedIn Post
Write a simple prompt (e.g., "Professional office team collaboration, modern and energetic")
Click Continue to generate
Wait 10-30 seconds for results
Step 6: Like and Save Your Generation
Review the generated image
Click the heart icon to Like the generation
Select the image and click Add to Library
Choose your project and folder (or leave in Library root)
Confirm to save as a permanent asset
The image is now in your Library and ready for use in posts.
Step 7: Create a Social Media Post
Navigate to Posts (labeled "Social")
Click New Post
Click the media selector and choose the image you just saved
Write a caption for your post
Select platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, or both)
Associate with your project
Step 8: Preview Your Post
Toggle between Instagram and LinkedIn previews
Check that images display correctly
Verify caption formatting and length
Make any needed adjustments
Step 9: Schedule or Publish
To schedule for later:
Click Schedule
Choose a date and time
Confirm
To publish immediately:
Click Publish or Post Now
Confirm publication
If you haven't connected social accounts, you'll see "Connect a social account first". Go to Settings > Integrations to connect before publishing.
Step 10: Verify Publication
Check the post status in your Posts list
If scheduled, it appears in Calendar view
If published, verify it appears on your connected social accounts

Common Quick Start Issues
Can't publish or schedule posts Connect social accounts in Settings > Integrations. Instagram requires approval (1-2 days).
AI generation fails or takes too long Check your internet connection and credit balance. Complex prompts may take longer.
Generated image doesn't match brand Complete your Identity profile and upload brand assets to Library for better AI understanding.
Don't see scheduled post on social media Scheduled posts publish at the scheduled time, not immediately. Check Calendar view for timing.
