Getting started

Bulk Actions in Library

The Library's multiselect feature lets you perform actions on multiple assets at once, saving time when organizing large collections of content.

Selecting Multiple Assets

There are several ways to select multiple assets:

Click to select:

  1. Click an asset to select it (it will highlight or show a checkmark)

  2. Click additional assets to add them to your selection

  3. Click a selected asset again to deselect it

Shift-click for range:

  1. Click the first asset in a range

  2. Hold Shift and click the last asset

  3. All assets between will be selected

Drag-select (if available):

  1. Click and drag to create a selection box

  2. All assets within the box will be selected

Use Shift-click to quickly select large ranges of assets in list or grid view.

The Selection Toolbar

When you have assets selected, a toolbar appears showing:

  • Number of selected assets

  • Available bulk actions

  • Option to clear selection

The toolbar stays visible as you scroll, making it easy to access actions for large selections.

Available Bulk Actions

Move to Folder Move all selected assets into a folder at once.

Add to Project Associate all selected assets with one or more projects.

Delete Remove multiple assets from your Library in one action.

Download Download all selected assets (typically as a ZIP file).

Add Tags Apply tags to multiple assets simultaneously.

Mark as Favorite Star multiple assets for quick access later.

Bulk actions apply to all selected assets, even across multiple pages if you've scrolled through results.

Using Bulk Move

To move multiple assets to a folder:

  1. Select the assets you want to move

  2. Click Move in the selection toolbar

  3. Choose the destination folder from the dialog

  4. Confirm the move

All selected assets will be moved to the chosen folder together.

Using Bulk Project Assignment

To add multiple assets to a project:

  1. Select the assets

  2. Click Add to Project in the toolbar

  3. Select one or more projects

  4. Confirm the assignment

Assets can be assigned to multiple projects simultaneously.

Bulk Delete

To delete multiple assets:

  1. Select the assets you want to remove

  2. Click Delete in the selection toolbar

  3. Confirm deletion (you may see a warning about usage)

Deleting assets is permanent. If an asset is used in scheduled posts, you'll be warned before deletion.

Clearing Selection

To deselect all assets:

  • Click the Clear selection button in the toolbar

  • Click outside the asset grid

  • Press Escape (keyboard shortcut)

Selection clears automatically after completing most bulk actions.

Selection Across Pages

If your Library uses pagination or infinite scroll:

  • Selected assets remain selected as you navigate

  • You can select assets on one page, scroll, and select more

  • The toolbar shows the total count across all pages

  • Bulk actions apply to all selected assets regardless of current view

Multiselect Performance Tips

  • Use filters first – Narrow your view before selecting to work with relevant assets only

  • Shift-click for speed – Faster than clicking each asset individually

  • Check the count – Always verify the selection count before bulk actions

  • Start small – Test bulk actions on a few assets before processing hundreds

Combine filters with multiselect for powerful organization. For example, filter by project and date range, then bulk-move to an archive folder.
