What Are Projects and How to Use Them
Projects (also called campaigns) are containers that help you organize content by initiative, theme, or time period. They're the foundation of content organization in Rheos.
What Projects Do
A project groups related content together:
Assets – Associate images, videos, and files with specific campaigns
Folders – Create campaign-specific folders for organization
Sessions – Link AI generation sessions to projects
Posts – Tag scheduled posts with project context
Projects help you see all content related to a campaign in one place, making it easier to maintain consistency and track what you've created.
Think of projects like campaign folders. Everything you create for a product launch, seasonal promotion, or content series can live in one project.
When to Create Projects
Create a new project when you're starting:
A marketing campaign (e.g., "Holiday Sale 2024")
A product launch
A content series or theme (e.g., "Customer Stories")
Ongoing initiatives (e.g., "Weekly Tips")
You can have multiple active projects running simultaneously.
Project Status
Projects can be:
Active – Current campaigns you're working on
Archived – Completed campaigns you want to keep for reference
Archiving a project removes it from your active list but preserves all associated content.
Viewing Your Projects
To see all projects:
Navigate to Projects in the sidebar
Toggle between Grid View and List View using the toolbar buttons
Browse your projects with their colors, icons, and post counts
When you have no projects, you'll see: "No projects yet" with the message "Projects are the containers for your content. Create one to start organizing your content strategy."
Project Information
Each project displays:
Custom color and icon for visual identification
Project name and description
Number of associated posts
Status (active or archived)
On the Dashboard, you'll see recent projects listed with their post counts (e.g., "Holiday Campaign - 3 posts").
Colors and icons make it easy to identify projects at a glance when organizing assets or creating posts.
Project Organization Strategy
Campaign-based: One project per marketing campaign or initiative
Time-based: Monthly or quarterly projects (e.g., "Q1 2024 Content")
Theme-based: Group by content type or topic (e.g., "Product Features", "Behind the Scenes")
Client-based: If you manage multiple brands, one project per client
Choose the structure that matches how you plan and execute your content strategy.
